Print this article Stories about time travel have been around for a while now, but "Hot Tub Time Machine" may be one of the best. The hilarious comedy, which stars John Cusack and Rob Corddry, will be available for purchase on DVD June 29.
The film centers on a group of buddies - Adam (Cusack), his nephew, Jacob (Clark Duke), Lou (Corddry) and Nick (Craig Robinson). Although the gang used to live it up during their youth, their current lives are filled with problems.
One night after partying at an old ski lodge, the boys find themselves transported back in time to 1986. It's there that they try to correct the mistakes they made in their past in order to save their futures.
While "Hot Tub Time Machine" certainly provides scores of laughs for home audiences, there are also many other time-travel stories that moviegoers can enjoy In fact, "Back to the Future" and "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" are considered modern-day classics.
For those who love foreign films, the engrossing Spanish science-fiction adventure "Timecrimes," about a man who involuntary steps into a time machine, is a fantastic choice.
