Jay Baruchel is hilarious in "She's Out of My League"

After playing the sidekick in several different films, Jay Baruchel has taken on the leading role in "She's Out of My League," a film that is currently available for purchase on DVD. Baruchel is hilarious as Kirk Kettner, a geeky guy who works at the airport. Although he has low self-esteem, he aspires to be a pilot one day. Kirk's life turns around when he suddenly meets Molly McCleish (Alice Eve), a gorgeous, funny girl who takes a liking to him. As the two embark on a relationship, Kirk and his family remain confused as to how he has kept her interested. Fans of comedies will certainly recognize Baruchel from the variety of characters he has played on screen. In fact, some of his more popular movies include "Tropic Thunder," in which he starred with Robert Downey, Jr. and Tom Cruise, and the megahit "Knocked Up," which starred Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl. His next film, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," is due in theaters July 14.
