"Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" is an action-packed family film

(We do not collect these names or emails!)Logan Lerman is wonderful in "Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Theif," a film that all members of a family can enjoy together. The exciting movie is due to be released on DVD on June 29.
The film starts out as Zeus (Sean Bean) tells Poseidon (Kevin McKidd) that his master bolt has been stolen. The king of the Greek gods blames Poseidon's son, Percy Jackson (Lerman) for the theft.
It isn't long before 12-year-old Percy discovers his strange and exciting family history. After attending a training camp for demi-gods, the young boy sets out to save his mortal mother, Sally Jackson (Catherine Keener), and prevent Zeus from engaging in war with Hades (Steve Coogan).
"Percy Jackon & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief" has a number of up-and-coming actors in its cast. In fact, Lerman recently appeared in the critically-acclaimed film "3:10 to Yuma," and is due to appear in the highly-anticipated action movie "The Three Musketeers."
Brandon T. Jackson, who plays Percy's best friend, Grover Underwood, was cast in the family comedy "Tooth Fairy" and will be starring in "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son" alongside Martin Lawrence.
