Print this article Fans of Matt Damon and "The Bourne Identity" trilogy are in for a treat. The actor pairs up with esteemed director Paul Greengrass once again for "Green Zone," which will be released on DVD June 22.
Damon plays Roy Miller, a Chief Warrant Officer who is sent to Iraq to investigate the existence of Weapons of Mass Destruction. There he meets U.S. Defense Intelligence Agent Clark Poundstone (Greg Kinnear).
After some time, the two government officials begin to conflict about the current situation in the devastated country, and Miller uncovers some telling information about Poundstone's reasons for going to war.
It looks like Greengrass is skilled at directing intense action dramas, as the talented Brit also helmed "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum." He was also nominated for an Academy Award for his work on "United 93," which detailed the final hours of the passengers on the ill-fated flight.
Greengrass is currently working on "They Marched into the Sunlight," a war film due out in theaters in 2013.
