Tom Cruise gears up for Les Grossman film

It looks like rumors of a Les Grossman movie may have some weight to them. According to Paste Magazine, the character that Tom Cruise made famous in the 2008 hit action-comedy "Tropic Thunder" may be starring in his very own film. Cruise recently donned a bald head piece and a pair of suspenders in order to play the short-tempered studio executive for a skit at the MTV Movie Awards. It was there that he told E! Online of his hopes for a feature-length movie. "Yup, we're working on it," he said at the glitzy awards ceremony. "Tropic Thunder" received wide critical and audience acclaim when it was released two years ago. Aside from garnering a spot on Entertainment Weekly's 25 Greatest Comedies from the Past 25 Years list in early 2009, the action-adventure comedy grossed over $188 million worldwide. Cruise may have a tough time fitting another film in his schedule at the moment. The actor, who also recently appeared in the war drama "Valkyrie," currently has 11 projects in development.
