"Nip/Tuck" was an immensely popular series on FX, so it's no wonder fans of the show are waiting with baited breath for the home release of the final season. The highly-anticipated DVDs will be available for purchase on June 1.

Picking up where the last season left off, the show follows the medical adventures of plastic surgeons Sean McNamara (Dylan Walsh) and Christian Troy (Julian McMahon).

In their second year in their new Los Angeles location, Sean and Christian deal with another round of wacky patients and over-the-top procedures. As usual, each situation comes with a set of problems, leading to antics in the medical office as well as in the doctors' personal lives.

"Nip/Tuck" was a huge success for the cable network. In fact, the season three finale was the most-watched scripted television show in its history.

Even after the end of the series, the careers of the two main actors are going strong. Walsh just appeared in the horror thriller "The Stepfather," while McMahon will costar alongside Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman in the action-comedy "Red." The film is due to be released in theaters this year.
