"Life," narrated by David Attenborough, will be available on DVD on June 1. The critically-acclaimed series is bound to please science and nature documentary lovers.

Attenborough narrates this visual journey throughout the world's landscape. The high-definition footage centers on the world's animals as they go about their daily lives.

Scenes include shots of awe-inspiring sea creatures, as well as spectacular images of winged animals flying over a beautiful evening sky. Other episodes include footage of reptiles, amphibians and plants.

Moviegoers have long adored nature documentaries. In fact, the 2005 French-made film "March of the Penguins," was a hit when it was released. It went on to win the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

Also, Al Gore's environmentally-conscious "An Inconvenient Truth" made waves when it was released in theaters. The independent film took in over $49 million worldwide, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. It remains the fifth-highest grossing documentary of all time.

Attenborough also narrated "David Attenborough: Wildlife Specials."ADNFCR-2673-ID-19799975-ADNFCR
