(We do not collect these names or emails!)Fans of green ogres are in for a treat this weekend. "Shrek Forever After," the fourth chapter in the popular children's franchise, is out in theaters today.
The story revolves around Shrek (Mike Myers) who is now living a domesticated life with his beloved wife, Fiona (Cameron Diaz). However, the ogre is bored and wants some excitement.
Shrek soon makes a deal with Rumpelstiltskin (Walt Dohrn), who tells the green guy that he can offer him a day to relax and feel like his old self. However, Shrek soon discovers he has been tricked, and must find out what people's lives would have been like without him.
If the latest "Shrek" is as popular as the previous films, the producers of "Shrek Forever After" may have a hit on their hands. The first three films grossed a combined total of close to $3 billion worldwide.
Diaz most recently appeared in the suspenseful thriller "The Box" and the tearjerker "My Sister's Keeper."
