Print this article "Red Dead Redemption," an exciting western video game produced by Rockstar Games, is now available for purchase.
The story revolves around John Marston, a former outlaw living in the year 1911. Federal agents threaten his family, and he is forced to adventure across the frontier to enforce the law. Soon he must choose between arresting his former gang members and losing his family.
"Red Dead Remption," which is available for Playstation 3 or Xbox 360, uses an open world environment, a system that allows the player to move freely. Horseback is the main form of transportation, and gamers can walk, talk, shoot, kill and run as they please (Marston cannot swim, however, so avoid large bodies of water).
It looks like gamers will find this new adventure to be a thrilling one. Seth Schiesel of the New York Times has hailed the release.
"In the more than 1,100 articles I have written for this newspaper since 1996, I have never before called anything a tour de force," he wrote in his review. "Yet there is no more succinct and appropriate way to describe 'Red Dead Redemption.'"
Rockstar Games most recently released "Midnight Club: L.A. Remix" for Playstation Portable and "Midnight Club: Los Angeles" for Playstation 3.
