Katherine Heigl to star in "Age of Adaline"

It looks like Katherine Heigl is keeping busy after her departure from "Grey's Anatomy." The actress, who was just announced as the star of the crime romance "One for the Money," is now officially set to lead "Age of Adaline," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The love story, which is being co-produced and co-financed by Lakeshore Entertainment and Sidney Kimmel, will tell the story of Adaline, a girl who is rendered ageless after a car accident. After years of living alone, she eventually meets her soul mate and decides he is worth giving up her immortality. It looks like Lakeshore Entertainment founder and Chairman Tom Rosenberg is hoping to get the project in theaters relatively soon. "We're moving very quickly on this one. We hope to have all the pieces in place in a short time," he told the news outlet. Heigl's film career has been steady for years since she made the crossover from the small to silver screen.
