Paramount says no to "Zoolander 2"

Is Paramount looking to produce more original films? The studio recently nixed the opportunity to produce a sequel to "Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy," and now rumors are swirling that a second chapter to Ben Stiller's hit comedy, "Zoolander," may not see the light of day. Adding fuel to the fire is Stiller himself, who took to his Twitter page to relay the news. "Ron Burgundy and Derek Zoolander looking to appear in sequels. Both men destitute, without means or intellect to fund their own comebacks," the actor wrote on the social networking site. "Zoolander" was a hit in theaters and developed a cult following after its release. The film, which also starred Owen Wilson and Christine Taylor, took in over $60 million at the box office. Stiller still has several projects in the works. The comedic actor, who recently appeared in "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian," has a third installment of the "Meet the Fockers" franchise coming out this year.
