"Leap Year" shows Amy Adams at her best

Amy Adams is wonderful in "Leap Year," a lighthearted romantic comedy. The film, which will be released on May 4, is sure to please all types of moviegoers. "Leap Year" tells the story of Anna (Adams), a woman who wants her boyfriend to propose. When he travels to Ireland, she decides to make a trip to the country to ask him to marry her. This is because of an Irish tradition that on February 29, a woman can ask for her beau's hand in marriage. After Anna's travel plans are hindered, she winds up meeting innkeeper Declan (Matthew Goode). At first, Anna hires Declan to drive her to Dublin, but after some time the pair realizes there is chemistry between them. Adams can do no wrong. The talented actress received rave reviews for her performance as princess Giselle in "Enchanted" as well as Julie Powell in "Julie & Julia," in which she starred with Meryl Streep. Adams will be appearing next in the drama "The Fighter," which will be released in theaters later this year.
