The sequel to "Iron Man" will be in theaters soon, and audiences can't wait. The action-packed movie will be released around the country on Friday, May 7.

In the film, Robert Downey Jr. reprises his role as multimillionaire Tony Stark. At the start of the movie, the world has discovered that he is actually Iron Man. While the government is pressuring Stark to tell them about his weapon secrets, Stark must also battle enemies who are looking to overtake him.

Joining the cast of "Iron Man 2" is Scarlett Johansson, who will play The Black Widow, and Mickey Rourke as Whiplash. Don Cheadle has taken over the role of Lt. Col. James 'Rhodey' Rhodes, which was originally played by Terrence Howard.

"Iron Man" was an immense success when it was released in 2008. According to BoxOfficeMojo.com, it grossed over $600 million worldwide.

Downey Jr. recently appeared in "Sherlock Holmes" alongside Jude Law, as well as "The Soloist," which starred Jamie Foxx.
