"The Lovely Bones" stars Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz

"The Lovely Bones," which stars Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz, will be released on DVD April 20. The film marks a change in directing style for Peter Jackson, who won an Academy Award for "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.""The Lovely Bones" centers on the character Susie Salmon (Saoirse Ronan), who is murdered at the beginning of the film. XS The rest of the story is told from her perspective as she looks down on her family from heaven. As the years pass, Susie's family struggles without her. Susie's father, Jack (Wahlberg), is determined to find out who killed his daughter while her mother, Abigail (Weisz), abandons her family. The film also stars Stanley Tucci as George Harvey. Tucci was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his performance. Jackson will be soon be returning to his fantasy roots. His film "The Hobbit: Part 1" is due to be released next year.
