Conan O'Brien announces move to TBS

Conan O'Brien fans can rejoice. Although the funnyman left his position as host of "The Tonight Show" a few months ago, he will soon be returning to the small screen. O'Brien signed a deal with TBS to host a one-hour program, which will begin in November. The comedian turned to his Twitter account to give fans the details. "The good news: I will be doing a show on TBS in November," the red-haired host wrote on the social networking site. As usual, O'Brien didn't hesitate to make a wisecrack. "The bad news: I'll be playing Rudy Huxtable on the all new Cosby Show," he said. O'Brien will bump "Lopez Tonight" to the midnight timeslot. However, George Lopez is not harboring any bad feelings about the move. "I can't think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as my lead-in. It's the beginning of a new era in late-night comedy," Lopez said in a statement. TBS, whose slogan is "Very Funny," currently broadcasts reruns of several hit sitcoms, including "Family Guy" and "My Name is Earl."
