"TRON Legacy" sequel already in the works

The highly-anticipated "TRON Legacy" has yet to be released, but it looks like studio executives are confident that it will be a hit. According to the Hollywood Reporter, there is already a sequel to the big budget blockbuster in the works. The news source reports that Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the writers and executive producers who worked on "TRON Legacy," will also be penning the second installment in the planned franchise. There are rumors that the duo has hopes of turning the story into a trilogy. "TRON Legacy" will tell the story of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), a young man who goes in search of his father, Kevin (Jeff Bridges), and winds up being pulled into a cyber universe. There area a host of talented individuals working on the project. Kitsis and Horowitz also wrote several episodes of the ABC hit show "Lost," while Bridges recently won an Oscar for his performance in the drama "Crazy Heart."
