Bryan Cranston may star in "Larry Crowne"

Bryan Cranston, who plays cancer survivor and drug dealer Walter White on AMC's hit show "Breaking Bad," may have landed himself a new job. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Cranston is in final negotiations to take on the role of Julia Roberts' character's husband in the film "Larry Crowne." The name of the character he might play is currently unknown. "Larry Crowne," which was written by Tom Hanks and Nia Vardalos, will follow the journey of the title character (to be played Hanks). After Larry is laid off from his job, he decides to take classes at a nearby? college and begins a flirtation with one of the school's professors (Roberts). Hanks is slated to direct and produce the film. The movie also has an esteemed scribe on its staff. Vardalos is best known for penning and starring in the independent hit "My Big Fat Greek Wedding." Hanks remains one of the hardest working men in show business. He currently has 14 films in production and recently reprised his role as Woody in the third installment of the "Toy Story" franchise.
