(We do not collect these names or emails!)Fans of gory films will love "The Collector," which will be released on DVD April 6. The horror movie was written and directed by Marcus Dunstan, the scribe behind "Saw IV,""Saw V" and "Saw VI."
The film stars Josh Stewart as Arkin, a young man desperate to pay back the cash he owes his ex-wife, Lisa (Daniella Alonso). Arkin, who was recently released from prison, soon forges a plan to take his boss hostage and steal his money.
In a strange turn of events, the ex-con arrives at his employer's home and discovers a masked criminal known as The Collector (Juan Fernández) hiding in the house. The Collector then sets up deadly traps and Arkin has to fight to stay alive.
The spooky film has a number of unknown but talented actors in its cast. However, moviegoers may recognize Stewart from the Oscar-nominated drama "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," where he played the role of Pleasant Curtis, as well as the crime thriller "Law Abiding Citizen," in which he was cast as the character Rupert Ames.
Dunstan has already penned the screenplay for "Saw VII," which will be released in theaters this year.
