"The Men Who Stare at Goats" stars George Clooney

George Clooney received several awards for his role as Ryan Bingham in the hit "Up in the Air," but moviegoers shouldn't overlook his other projects he worked on this year, including the film "The Men Who Stare at Goats." Also starring Ewan McGregor and Academy Award winners Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey, the film tells the story of Bob Wilton (McGregor), a reporter who flies to Iraq after his marriage fails. After arriving in the country, Bob meets Special Forces operator Lyn Cassady (Clooney), a nutty guy who claims he was trained by the military to use psychic powers against enemies. Soon the founder of the unit, Bill Django (Bridges), goes missing and trouble ensues. The film is adapted from the book of the same name by Jon Ronson, which was based on research by John Sergeant. Clooney is an extremely busy actor these days. The silver-haired movie star has a film titled "The American" due for release this year, while the comedy-drama "The Descendents" will be in theaters in 2011. Clooney is also more than just a thespian - he directed the journalism drama "Good Night, and Good luck" and the lighthearted football film "Leatherheads."
