"The Green Zone" stars Matt Damon

Matt Damon is all over the silver screen at the moment. Fans of "The Bourne Identity" series will enjoy his latest movie "Green Zone," due in theaters March 12. The film stars "The Bourne Identity" actor Damon as Roy Miller, a U.S. Army Chief stationed in Iraq in 2003. The story follows Miller as he hunts for weapons of mass destruction in the unstable area. The flick, which is rated R, is based on the novel of the same name by Rajiv Chandrasekaran. Paul Greengrass, who directed the second and third "Bourne" installments as well as the critically-lauded "Bloody Sunday," was at the helm for this thriller. Greengrass, known for his intense footage and unique style, was also nominated for an Oscar for "United 93." The action-packed adventure also stars "Gone Baby Gone" Academy Award-nominated actress Amy Ryan as Lawrie Dayne, and Greg Kinnear was cast in the role of Clark Poundstone. Kinnear has also been nominated for an Oscar for his work in "As Good as It Gets."
