(We do not collect these names or emails!)Although Tim Burton's much-anticipated "Alice in Wonderland" has yet to hit theaters, it looks like the wacky director is already planning to sink his teeth into another project.
Variety reports that Burton has been tapped to produce an adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's bizarre tale "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter." Grahame-Smith also authored the bestselling novel "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies."
Grahame-Smith's most recent book is a blend of fact and fiction. It tells the story of Abraham Lincoln, whose mother is murdered by a vampire, and the president's quest to avenge her?. This looks like just the sort of movie that Burton, who is known for being an eccentric character himself, could turn into a masterpiece.
Considering that "Vampire Hunter" features the same supernatural creatures that have recently become a pop culture phenomenon, fans are likely to be especially excited for the project it. Still, devotees of the "Twilight Saga" films should know that a tear-jerking romance like Edward and Bella's will be missing from this film.
Burton is famous for his larger-than-life tales, add comma and the talented director has brought dozens of spooky stories to the big screen. Some of his most beloved works are "Edward Scissorhands" and "The Nightmare Before Christmas."
