Angelina Jolie to star in "Salt"

Angelina Jolie is no stranger to action movies. In fact, from "Gone in 60 Seconds" and "Tomb Raider" to "Wanted," Jolie appears to have become the go-to girl when producers are working on a fast-paced shoot 'em up thriller. The film is directed by Phillip Noyce, who helmed other popular films such as "Rabbit-Proof Fence," and who worked with Jolie before on "The Bone Collector." In "Salt," Jolie appears as Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who is accused of being a double agent for Russia. Liev Schreiber also appears in the film as Winter, Evelyn's boss. Though action-packed popcorn flicks are the brunette beauty's specialty, Schreiber himself is no stranger to blockbusters. He recently appeared in "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." Fans of other adrenaline-fueled movies centered on espionage, such as "The Bourne Identity" or recent James Bond installments like "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace" will enjoy "Salt." The film is currently in post-production and is scheduled for a July 23rd release.
