Seann William Scott to star in another "American Pie" film?

It has been speculated that another "American Pie" movie may soon be in the works. The franchise, which had three theatrical releases including the original, "American Pie" followed by "American Pie 2" and "American Wedding," is planning another installment in the comedy series. It seems that producers are planning to re-boot the franchise by attempting to reunite members of the original cast, and so far Seann William Scott, who played the iconic role of Stifler, seems eager to get on board. The star told Coming Soon that he has on some levels embraced his typecasting, saying, "We came up with an awesome idea and I'm kind of at the point where I'm already known as that character forever anyways." Scott, who has gone on to appear in comedies like "Evolution" and "Role Models" recently starred in "Cop Out," a comedy directed by Kevin Smith that also stars Tracy Morgan and Bruce Willis.
