"The Box" will be released on DVD February 23

Cameron Diaz and James Marsden appear in "The Box," a psychological thriller that tells the story of Arthur and Norma Lewis (Marsden and Diaz), a young couple who are presented with a moral quandary. The pair are having financial troubles and are unhappy in their work. Norma is a private school teacher who suffers from a limp, and Arthur is an aspiring astronaut who is rejected from his program because he failed a psychological test. However, it seems like the answer to their problems has arrived when a mysterious man offers them $1 million to press a button that will end the lives of anonymous strangers. They must decide if the lives of others are worth their financial security, and live with the consequences of their decision. The film is based on the short story, "Button, Button" written by Richard Matheson, which was also adapted into an episode of "The Twilight Zone." Fans of other dark horror movies that center of the choices of the characters, such as "Saw" or "The Ring" will enjoy "The Box."
