Alexis Bledel discusses a "Gilmore Girls" movie

Fans of the WB's hit show "Gilmore Girls" have been campaigning for a movie based on the show since the program's finale in 2007. Though rumors have been swirling that a reunion is in the works, nothing has been confirmed as of yet. When asked about the possibility of a movie, Alexis Bledel, who played Rory Gilmore on the long-running series, told PopEater.com that though she was happy with the way the writers wrapped up the series, she would be open to continuing the story. "I thought they brought the story full circle," she told the website. "It was very satisfying for me. I don't know what the story [of the movie] would be, but I would be curious to find out what it would be." Since the finale, Bledel has starred in "The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" films and "Post Grad" which focuses on the travails of a recent graduate searching for a job and a purpose in life. Her next movie, "The Good Guy" was recently released in theaters and tells the story of a young professional (Bledel) searching for love in New York City.
