(We do not collect these names or emails!)Fans of Judd Apatow's comedy hits like "40-year-old Virgin" and "Knocked Up" are likely to be familiar with his work on "Freaks and Geeks," a show that is famous for being cancelled despite its cult-like following and excellent reviews.
The show followed a teenage girl, Lindsay Weir (Linda Cardellini), and her group of eccentric friends and acquaintances as they struggled to make it through their high school days.
Apatow produced the beloved show, which was created by Paul Feig. After "Freaks and Geeks" was cancelled, Feig went on to develop several successful prime-time series such as "Arrested Development" and "Mad Men" while Apatow focused on films.
Fans of Feig and Apatow's brand of comedy are sure to be excited about
their latest team effort, which they will co-produce and Feig will direct. The movie, which is yet unnamed and still in development, is a wedding comedy starring former "SNL" cast member Kristen Wiig.
According to CinemaBlend.com, the film is about two women who are obsessed with planning their best friend's wedding.
Wiig has also appeared in "Extract," opposite Jason Bateman, and in Drew Barrymore's directorial debut "Whip It."
