"Couples Retreat" out on DVD

"Couples Retreat" is a laugh-out-loud comedy that follows four couples who are all at a stressful point in their marriage and have decided to book a vacation at Eden, a resort that specializes in marriage therapy. The trip was initiated by Cynthia (Kristen Bell) and Jason (Jason Bateman), a loving couple who began having marital problems when they experience trouble conceiving. However, in order to afford a spot at the expensive resort, they had to take a package deal and convince three other couples to join them. Reluctantly, their friends agree and they all head off. Though it seems like a harmless trip, when the group arrives at Eden they realize that their marriages are all in need of a little attention, but the island is full of distractions that seem to be designed to disrupt marital harmony. The film also stars Vince Vaughn, Jon Favreau, Kristin Davis and Malin Akerman. Fans of other romantic comedies like "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" or "Wedding Crashers" will be sure to find "Couples Retreat" to be a hilarious take on the challenges that all couples face.
