"Zombieland" will be released on DVD February 2

"Zombieland" is a new and hilarious take on old horror films. When the story begins, Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg), a college student who has survived a zombie apocalypse, is alone and trying to find a way to get to his family. When Columbus runs into Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson), a cowboy on a quest for Twinkies, he is relieved to have another human on his side. The two pair up and begin traveling together, dodging zombies along the way. Eventually they meet two sisters, Wichita (Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin), who join their crew. Ultimately the whole group begins a pilgrimage to an amusement park that is supposed to be safe for humans. Though the film is more tongue-in-cheek than it is a spoof, fans of other films that make fun of the horror genre, like the "Scary Movie" films, are sure to like "Zombieland," as is anyone who enjoyed "Shawn of the Dead."
