Rachel McAdams stars in "The Time Traveler's Wife"

The unique and fascinating story follows Henry DeTamble (Bana), a Chicago librarian who suffers from a genetic disorder that causes him to pop in and out of different parts of time and space at random. When Henry meets Clare (McAdams), a young woman who knows his secret and claims to have known an older version of him all her life, he falls in love. However, Henry's inability to control when or where he is continually disrupts the life that they make for themselves. "The Time Traveler's Wife" is based on Audrey Niffenegger's best-selling novel of the same name, and stays very true to the original story. Fans of other films that deal with time travel, such as "The Butterfly Effect" or "12 Monkeys" will enjoy "The Time Traveler's Wife," as will moviegoers who like McAdams' performance in "The Notebook."
