Few TV shows have inspired the fervor and conjecture that "Lost" has. Fans love to discuss the mysteries of the island, and the sixth and final season is sure to draw a large audience.

The story began when a plane on its way to the U.S. from Australia crashed into a tropical island. The surviving passengers band together and begin to set up makeshift living quarters as they wait for rescue, though it is soon clear that they are not completely alone.

Since the series' inception in 2004, audiences have been on the edge of their seats to discover the true nature of the island, the purpose of the plane crash and how the characters all seem to be connected.

The first episode of the popular show will premiere on ABC on February 2, which leaves fans a little bit of time to catch up on any past episodes that they might have missed.

TV buffs who like other cleverly scripted science fiction series like "The X-Files" or "Smallville" are sure to enjoy "Lost."ADNFCR-2673-ID-19569206-ADNFCR
