Print this article Peter Morgan, who wrote "The Queen," is said to be working on the script for the next James Bond movie, which the screenwriter claims is a "shocking story," according to CinemaBlend.com.
MGM studios have not yet decided on a director for the project, but fans of the previous two bond films will be happy to know that Daniel Craig, who played Bond in 2006's "Casino Royale" and 2008's "Quantum of Solace," is signed to appear as 007 in the upcoming film as well.
Moviegoers who liked Craig's performance as Bond might also enjoy watching the British actor in other films like "The Jacket," which stars Keira Knightley and Adrien Brody.
"The Jacket" tells the story of Jack Starks (Brody) a Gulf war veteran who is wrongly sent to a mental institution for the criminally insane. Craig plays Rudy Mackenzie, a patient at the hospital.
The next installment in the franchise will mark the 23rd James Bond movie. The first in the series, "Dr. No" starred Sean Connery and was released in 1962.
