Parents take note: children will do anything for a guinea pig. It seems that the furry creatures which recently appeared on the big screen could be the ultimate incentive to get a child interested in their chores or homework. (Not that it takes much prodding to get kids interested in their favorite movies.)

One Family Video store in in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, decided that in honor of the animated movie "G-Force," they would give their customers a chance to win a guinea pig for themselves. A local pet store donated the adorable creature that has taken up residence in the store until the lucky winner of the drawing is announced.

Store managers just didn't expect the little furball to attract so much interest! Kids have been pouring into the store to get a look at the little guy and to enter the drawing.

Perhaps "G-Force" has permanently endeared guinea pigs to the young cinephiles. The film tells the story of a special division of the FBI: secret agent animals. The creatures can understand humans via an earpiece and use their powers to covertly uncover sensitive information.

However, when a mission goes awry, the loveable creatures, which include a guinea pig (voiced by Jon Favreau) and a hamster (Steve Buscemi), are sent to a pet store and must find a way to escape.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who helmed the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, was behind the film.ADNFCR-2673-ID-19514778-ADNFCR
