"Everybody's Fine" is an ensemble drama that boasts an all-star cast. The movie, which is a remake of an Italian film titled "Stanno Tutti Bene," follows Frank (Robert De Niro), a lonely widower who embarks on a spontaneous road trip to surprise each of his adult children for the holidays.

Drew Barrymore, Kate Beckinsale and Sam Rockwell appear in the film as Frank's children. When the story begins, each of the far-flung siblings is focused on their own problems. But, as Frank seeks to reconnect with each of them, their underlying love and affection for one another is revealed.

The film was written and directed by Kirk Jones, who also helmed the comedy "Waking Ned Divine." The 1998 film is a heartwarming and hilarious story of two elderly friends in a small Irish village who go to great lengths to collect a deceased resident’s lottery winnings.

Jones also directed "Nanny McPhee," a 2005 family film starring Emma Thompson in the title role.
