Johnny Depp to reprise role of Captain Jack Sparrow

(We do not collect these names or emails!)People magazine named Johnny Depp the sexiest man alive for 2009, which makes him the third actor (behind George Clooney and Brad Pitt) to receive the magazine's highest honor twice. This year the devastatingly handsome leading man will be appearing in Tim Burton's remake of "Alice in Wonderland" as the Mad Hatter.
Fans of Depp will be pleased to know that he'll be setting sail on the Black Pearl once again, in a fourth installment of the popular "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise, titled "Pirates of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides." Depp stars as the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow. The movie will also feature Geoffrey Rush as Captain Barbossa, InStyle magazine reports. Rush appeared in all three of the previous films, the latest one being "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.""Pirates of the Caribbean" alums Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom will not return for the fourth film, but the news source suggests that Penelope Cruz might don some swashbuckling boots and sign on as the female lead. Fans will have to wait to find out though, as the film is not slated to be released until May 2011.
Though his role as pirate and scoundrel Jack Sparrow has won him legions of devoted fans, Depp is also well known for his other films which include "Sleepy Hollow,""Edward Scissorhands" and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street."
