Like "Glee"? You'll love these musicals

Since Fox started broadcasting the hit television series "Glee," some people's Wednesday night schedules have been forever changed - in a good way. The series focuses on Will Schuester, a high school Spanish teacher (Matthew Morrison) who decides to direct the glee club in order to broaden his horizons. TV buffs might recognize Jayma Mays from "Ugly Betty" as Emma, the guidance counselor who is head over heels for Will. People who enjoy musicals brought to life on the small screen should to get to know classic musicals. For example, there's a pretty big chance songs from "Grease" may be featured in a future "Glee" episode. This high-school tale of acceptance and love features hits like "You're the One That I Want," and others. Why not watch "West Side Story," and decide whether you sympathize with the Sharks or the Jets? This musical re-tells the story of Romeo and Juliet with some great tunes. If you'd like to check out another classic musical, grab a copy of "Chicago," and judge for yourself whether Richard Gere really can sing.
