One summer blockbuster hits the small screen

Many parts of the country are starting to experience fall-like conditions, and some people want to get back to summer, rather than move towards winter. If you were excited about this year's big summer movies, soon you can relive those warm feelings in the comfort of your living room. The flashy hit, "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" comes to DVD on November 3 and eager fans should expect plenty of action. The all-American G.I. Joe team has to stop renegade arms dealer, Destro (James McCullen) from giving high-power weapons to the enemy. In the meantime, the G.I. Joe Special Operations Unit has to halt the evil plans of the Cobra organization. If they fail, the whole world could fall into turmoil. Look out for actors like Joseph Gordon-Levitt playing The Doctor and Ray Park as Snake Eyes. Park also appeared in "X-Men" as Toad and is Edgar in the NBC hit, "Heroes." Some of you may find the director of "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" to be somewhat familiar. Stephen Sommers also directed the creepy archeological thriller, "The Mummy," that starred Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz.
