She recently played the mother of the bride in "Mamma Mia," and found love of her own on a gorgeous Greek island. This time, Meryl Streep will reprise her role in real life, as media sources reveal that her daughter, Mamie Gummer, is engaged to be married. Here's hoping that Streep is less demanding of her son-in-law than her character, Miranda Priestly, is of her assistant in "The Devil Wears Prada." Yet since throughout her career Streep has displayed more favorable sides of her character, her daughter's fiancée should have no fears. Reportedly, Gummer is now engaged to Ben Walker - another actor. He appeared in the movie, "Kinsey," playing a young version of the revolutionary psychologist. Walker also had a role in "Flags of Our Fathers," a movie about the famous flag-raising event after the Battle of Iwo Jima. For those who want more details about Walker's proposal, People Magazine reports that he went for romance rather than spectacle and got down on one knee. Gummer expressed her happiness to the news provider, saying "we're very, very smiley."
