New Ricky Gervais movie hits theaters

Ricky Gervais co-created and starred in the British version of "The Office" as well as HBO's "Extras." Now, he takes to the big screen in the romantic comedy, "The Invention of Lying" alongside Jennifer Garner, Tina Fey and Rob Lowe. Mark (Gervais) resides in a world where no one knows how to lie, nor do its residents understand even the idea of telling something other than the truth. When Mark develops this ability, his silver tongue helps him rise to the top, but his lies start to get too large, even for him. Will he win the woman of his dreams (Garner) and rein in his newfound ability? To see Gervais in another feature, it's advised that you check out the comedy "Ghost Town." Gervais plays the dentist, Dr. Bertram Pincus, who is incredibly self-centered and anti-social. However, a standard hospital procedure leaves him with the ability to see ghosts. Soon every supernatural being in New York City begs for his assistance with their unfinished business. Dealing with the seemingly insignificant requests of his phantasmagoric acquaintances help humanize Pincus, as he begins to appreciate - and respect -the people around him.
