Print this article Diablo Cody was responsible for the smart, funny movie"Juno" that takes a non-traditional look at teen pregnancy. The movie starred Ellen Page as the title character and won the Oscar for Best Screenplay in 2007.
Cody's latest writing effort leans toward the horrific, rather than the outright funny. "Jennifer's Body" is currently playing in theaters and is the story of a young woman, Jennifer, who becomes possessed by a demon. The character (played by Megan Fox) is transformed after a mysterious incident at a local rock music bar. She then starts disposing of her male classmates one by one - can her best friend, Needy (Amanda Seyfried) end the slaying?
It might be best to avoid this one if you're the type who prefers "It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" at Halloween. For those who would rather their Halloween entertainment be on the scary side, consider picking up a copy of "The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen."
The tale of demonic possession is an old and frightening one, and it's presented nowhere better than in "The Exorcist." This updated release comes with new music, enhanced sound effects and extra scenes to really make for bone-chilling watching.
