"The Wizard of Oz" Special Edition on DVD and Blu-ray

For DVD users, the Ultimate Collector's Edition is a five-disc set. Some unique features include actual interviews with the cast and crew, information about the restoration process and an accompanying booklet. A film that brings a little magic to young and old audiences, "The Wizard of Oz" appears on special edition DVD and Blu-ray. The Blu-ray Ultimate Collection has the same features, but is a four-disc set. These new releases and the film's restoration were intended to coincide with and celebrate "The Wizard of Oz's" 70th anniversary. Judy Garland as Dorothy will look more beautiful than ever, while the Emerald City should really shine on the refurbished film. In addition, ABC News revealed that Warner Home Video and Turner Classic Movies plan to screen the movie in theaters nationwide on the DVD and Blu-ray release date. Before picking up a copy of "The Wizard of Oz," it would be a great family experience to see it on the big screen.
