Any budding actor, singer, dancer or artist is sure to have seen the 1980 hit, "Fame" focusing on a group from the New York School of the Performing Arts. If you're not of the eighties generation, a new "Fame" is coming to the big screen for contemporary audiences.

The movie charts the lives of outstanding and talented young artists as they make their way through their performing education in New York. "Fame" shows the importance of determination as the students are tested by their desire to make it, and the trials and tribulations of youth.

This updated "Fame" features a range of emerging actors as the creatively gifted collection of teens. However, some famous faces appear as the Performing Arts school's staff. Watch out for Kelsey Grammer as Joel, Megan Mullally as Fran and Broadway star Bebe Newith as Lynn.

"Fame" hits theaters on September 25 and in the meantime, pick up a copy of the original film and have a retro theme night. Leg warmers required. ADNFCR-2673-ID-19364952-ADNFCR
