"Scooby Doo! The Mystery Begins" on DVD

Everybody loves a good mystery story and if it features a loveable hound, the plot becomes that much more intriguing. But how did Scooby Doo and friends become involved in solving crimes? "Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins" reveals the roots of this group of sleuths. This movie traces one dog and his friend, Shaggy, and a team of four friends. After the group is accused of frightening students at their high school, all are suspended. To clear their names and solve the case, Shaggy, Scooby, Fred, Velma and Daphne bring their skills, humor and personalities together. While the characters are real and played by up-and-coming actors, Scooby himself is wonderfully rendered in CGI. Audiences will marvel at how he frolics right in the thick of the action, seeming to be almost real. First shown on the Cartoon Network, non-cable subscribers and Scooby fans can own the adventure on DVD. Curl up with a few tasty Scooby snacks and watch the spine-tingling mystery unfold.
