Steve Carell dresses for "Dinner with Schmucks"

Dunder Mifflin's top-notch boss, Michael Scott (played by Steve Carell) might be on hiatus at the moment, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy "The Office: Season 5" on DVD in anticipation of the sixth season. But while "The Office" team spend some time away from our primetime screens, Carell has reportedly been busy with his latest project, for while this actor is well-known for his TV role, he has also appeared in several feature-length comedies. Fans of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" should be quite thrilled to learn that this actor is teaming up with another popular comedian and star of the recent box office hit, "The Hangover." According to media sources, Carell will be appearing in the 2010 comedy, "Dinner With Schmucks" alongside the hopefully not hungover Zach Galifinakis. Paste Magazine reveals that Galiniakis recently agreed to act in this remake of a 1998 French comedy, "Le Diner des Cons" in which a successful publisher and dinner party host compete to find who can bring the most pathetic and horrible individual to their weekly gathering. Currently, the film is in pre-production and Carell's role seems to be under wraps.
