Majesco's take on the popular Brazilian fusion of Latin music and international dance steps returns with a new roster of musicians, dance styles, and routines designed to strengthen abdominal muscles in Zumba Fitness Core. Players can once again tone their body and improve their endurance as they try new dance styles like Brazilian Funk, Jive, and Hula while grooving to 40 songs from the likes of Sean Paul, Enrique Iglesias, and Tiesto. There are 45 pre-determined routines from which to choose, including warm-ups and cool-downs, or users can create their own custom playlists.

Zumba Fitness Core offers six superstar Zumba instructors to guide gamers through their routines, while the new Royal Ballroom, Zumba Tropica, Luau Moon Party, and Big Water venues give players eight different locations in which to dance. There are three different intensity levels available, as well as a tutorial mode, and Kinect gamers can use their voice to navigate menus, set personal and community goals, and join a friend for multiplayer workouts.
