A British war veteran struggles with post-traumatic stress disorder after returning home from Afghanistan, only to find that his real fight has only just begun. Just as Robert Miller (Toby Kebbell) begins to fear that war has made him unfit to re-enter society, he is recruited to track a group of suspected terrorists who may be plotting a devastating attack. Meanwhile, a group of fanatics begin targeting a local woman named Alayna (Adi Bielski), and Miller vows to protect her at all costs. Upon uncovering a far-reaching government conspiracy, however, he learns that the real enemy is the one that's been handing down his orders all along.
