City Interactive's first-person shooter series returns for more realistic sniper action as players once again step into their ghillie suit in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2. Gamers use a variety of accurately re-created weapons as they team up with a spotter to find and eliminate targets in urban, jungle, and mountainous stages based on real-world locations. To hit their targets, players must regulate their breathing while taking into account wind speed, wind direction, and distance, with some low-visibilty strikes requiring the use of night-vision or thermal goggles.

Ghost Warrior 2 rewards successful executions with slow-motion kill animations, limb dismemberments, and explosions. In addition to traditional sniping missions, gamers can also engage in other stealth tactics, witness action scenes, and join a friend for co-op takedowns.
