Once again players must manage limited resources while trying to survive deadly encounters in a series of atmospheric environments. Jill Valentine, Keith Lumley, and new members of the BSAA task force begin the game searching for a missing Chris Redfield, whose last known whereabouts point to a derelict cruise ship.
As players will quickly discover, the cruise ship is anything but abandoned, filled instead with monstrous creatures infected with a virus known as T-Abyss. In addition to the main campaign, Resident Evil: Revelations introduces a raid mode that supports both solo and cooperative play. This mode offers a series of missions in which you must defeat as many enemies as possible to earn experience points and unlock more powerful weapon upgrades.
