Expanded Description
The 2008 Olympic medalist provides her expertise and virtual likeness to Shawn Johnson Gymnastics, one of the first handheld games based on the sport. In the main mode, gamers play through the young career of an aspiring gymnast, who may work her way from amateur to champion. Players use the stylus to tap and swipe patterns on the touch screen, in order to make their gymnasts perform a sequence of moves. Balance beam, floor exercise, uneven parallel bars, and vault are featured events. Players can unlock additional content featuring Johnson by practicing and perfecting their performances. A choreography editor function allows the creation of custom routines.
