Celebrated for its withering wit and complex medical mysteries, Emmy and Peabody Award-winning drama HOUSE stars Hugh Laurie as a moody, wisecracking diagnostician with a predilection for painkillers and impossible cases. In season five, House is working--though not cooperating--with his team, now composed of Foreman (Omar Epps), Taub (Peter Jacobson), Kutner (Kal Penn), and Thirteen (Olivia Wilde), while Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) and Chase (Jesse Spencer) help out in other positions. Medical mysteries abound in this season--including an artist with acute onset visual agnosia, a personal trainer who collapsed mid-run, and a hallucinating priest--and Thirteen struggles with her own Huntington's disease diagnosis. But the non-medical drama is just as engaging, as romantic entanglements grow more knotted and a shocking death occurs in the second half of the year. The fifth season includes guest stars such as rapper/actor Mos Def, Zeljko Ivanek (DAMAGES), and Carl Reiner (OCEAN'S ELEVEN).
