Can humans ever really live together peacefully? Though the Bloody Valentine War between the PLANTS space colonies and the Atlantic Federation has ended, it's an uneasy truce at best. Many who fought in the brutal war were relieved when the Junius Seven Treaty was signed, but not Shin Asuka, who is still wracked with grief from losing his entire family during the Battle of Org. Shin now operates the new defense weapon, the Impulse Gundam, for ZAFT. But when a group of Federation operatives steal some of the Impulse Gundam's prototypes, the world is once again headed toward war.
